Cheers to National Tequila Day! It's Margaritas all around because they are gluten free and delicious!
Tequila makes her clothes fall off! One Margarita… Two Margarita… Three Margarita…SHOT! You and Tequila make me crazy…
It’s another straight tequila night.. It’s another round with Jose Cuervo!
That’s just a few of the country songs I could think of that involve TEQUILA! I hope you sang them in your head when you read them. HAHA!
How is it made? It is made from the blue agave plant. It is distilled which makes the delicious alcohol we have today. You can read more here.

Are You A Fan? I am a fan! I have plenty of friends who no longer drink it because of one night in college that they had too many shots of José!
Margaritas are delicious as well as sipping on high-quality tequila straight. What is your favorite way to enjoy it?
Here is one of my favorite Margarita recipes:
My Favorite Margarita
I also like making cocktails with tequila in them. One of my favorites was shared with me by two of my girls! Proseccoritas! So delicious! I love prosecco and margaritas and a proseccorita is like the two drinks had a baby and it’s amazing!
Here is my recipe for Proseccoritas!

The awesome silicone popsicle molds I used as well as the little individual bags to store the popsicles in once they are frozen!
What are your favorite kinds of Tequila? My friend Terah introduced me to some delicious higher end tequila and I love it for sipping on. Have you tried Don Julio 1942? It’s a smooth sipping tequila.
For margaritas, I usually just use Costco Tequila! I am a fan of Costco’s labelled alcohol. It’s perfect for margs!
I have also tried some local Arizona higher-end Tequilas. I really like the Señor Rio brand for sipping. There are so many great choices, what is your favorite?

Get your ketchup or ranch ready to try the best gluten free oven french fries!
I love french fries that are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside! They are my favorite! I don’t really have a thickness preference, I like them thin or THICCCK (my daughters would say thick with two c’s if they are really thick.. lol)! How do you like your fries?
Sweet Potato or Regular Potato?I usually go back and forth with our potato choices when it comes to french fries. We like them both! Sometimes, I even do a combo of potato types.
Sweet potatoes come in a few different colors, however, it doesn’t affect the taste of the potato. Sometimes I like to mix up the colors just for the aesthetic.
If you are like me and love potato products, just make sure to season them well to bring out their delicious flavor.
What do you need to make these awesome french fries?
You will need some potatoes or sweet potatoes or a combo of both.
1-2 baking sheets, depending on how many french fries you want to make.
Olive or Avocado oil to drizzle them in.
Salt and Pepper as well as your favorite dipping sauces.
A bowl to wash them off in.
An oven to cook them in.
A clean kitchen towel to dry them with.
A knife to chop them up with. (The link is my favorite knife)
And last but not least a cutting board to chop them on.
Here’s My Method to make them fluffy in the middle and crisp on the outside:
When I make pretty standard-sized french fries, I bake them at 375-400 degrees. It usually takes about 20 minutes or so. Honestly, I usually forget to set a timer because I start on other parts of dinner and they are done! lol.
If you are going to reheat your fries the next day you might not want to put them in the microwave. If you do they will be soggy. I like to throw them in a pan on the stovetop for a few minutes to warm them up.
If you purchase an item from my links I may get paid a small commission for it. Here are my disclosures and policies.
What are your favorite toppings?
It was #nationalfrenchfry day earlier this week and I asked people on Instagram what their favorite toppings are. First off, their responses made me hungry! Secondly, I now need to make french fries and try them with their suggested toppings. Here are few suggestions:
Siracha, Mayo and ketchup
Siracha, pork and cheese sauce
Vinegar (not malt because it’s not gf)
Loaded like nachos
Carnitas topped with taco toppings
Fried eggs and bacon
Herbs and garlic butter
Lemon and herbs
Sea salt and pepper
No matter how you top your french fries, I hope you love this recipe! Don’t forget to join the mailing list so you never miss a new post!

These Prosecco popsicles are perfect for the 4th of July with the Red White and Blue theme!
RED WHITE AND BLUE Everything!
I love celebrating holidays and the 4th is no exception to that. This year it is going to be a little different with Arizona putting more restrictions out again. It will also be the first year our girls won’t be with us to celebrate a holiday. I’m trying to hold back the tears…..
This year we are keeping it simple and small and getting together with our family aka our covid bubble. Swimming-food-boozy popsicles…. what more can a person ask for? well, I am sure there are some things, but right now it seems pretty good.

Here’s What You Need To Make These Prosecco Popsicles:
These Prosecco popsicles are super easy to make! You can make them as boozy as you’d like by controlling the amount of vodka you add to them.
1 bottle of Prosecco or champagne (substitute with lemon-lime soda for a nonalcohol version)
1/4-1 Cup of Vodka (leave out for a nonalcohol version)
1 Cup of cut up Strawberries
1 Cup of blueberries
A Bottle of Lemonade
1 Cup of cut up Blackberries
1 Cup of Raspberries
1/4- 1/2 Cup Simple syrup or honey simple syrup if you want them sweet. I don’t like super sweet so I didn’t add any. I found the lemonade was sweet enough for me.
