These are the best gluten free and keto wines in my opinion! I have sampled quite a few for research purposes for this post…just for you! HAHA!
Isn’t all wine gluten free? This is my favorite answer… YES! Well, most of the time. If it is wine without any additional flavorings it is naturally gluten free. Those pesky natural or unnatural flavorings can contain hidden gluten! If you want to check out my list of hidden gluten in foods you can read more about it here.
Is all wine Keto or Paleo? Unfortunately, no. Some wines have added sugar to them. When you are following a ketogenic diet, you want to avoid all added sugar and consume low sugar or low carbs. Since sugar equals carbs, you can see where I am going with this. Paleo diets, in general also avoid added sugar that is not from honey or fruit. Which wine is best to drink on a ketogenic diet? If you are going to drink on a ketogenic diet you need to know your carb counts for each drink. One bottle of wine can easily push you over your daily limit on carbs! Here are my top favorites to drink that are not “dry farm wines or low carb wines”. Brut Champagne 2g Carbs per flute La Marca Prosecco 3g Carbs per flute Sauvignon Blanc 3g Carbs per 5oz glass Pinot Grigio 4g Carbs per 5oz glass Dry Rose 5g Carbs per 5oz glass Pinot Noire 3.4g Carbs per 5oz glass Cabernet Sauvignon 4g Carbs per 5oz glass Red Blend 4.5g Carbs per 5oz glass What is Dry Farm Wine?
Dry Farm Wine is a wine club that sources organic, glyphosate free, gluten free, sugar free, and no additive wine from around the world. It is one of my favorite places to order low carb wine from! Each bottle is less than 1g of Carbs! WHATTTT! That’s something to cheers to!
Dry Farm Wines offer bubbles, white, rose, and reds! I have sampled quite a few of the bottles and I am a fan! If you would like to get one bottle of wine to try it for a penny here is my link! They offer subscriptions so your favorite wines will show up at your doorstop however often you would like! It is not to be confused with dry farmed wine. Dry farmed wine is a method of farming without irrigation. Not all dry farmed wines are low sugar wines. If you order through my links, I may receive a small commission. Here are my policies and disclosures. Tied for my Favorite keto wine is Secco Wine Club!
Secco wine club is similar to Dry Farm Wines. It is all organic, low carb, no additives, sugar free, no glyphosate, and most importantly delicious! This is generally my daily..I mean weekly...drinker!
They are farmed in ITALY! And if you know me you know that I have a love for Italy and all Italian wines, so I of course love Secco Wine Club! Some day I hope to go back to Italy and visit Secco! If you want to read about my first trip to Italy here’s the link. Their Palo61 Wine is less than 1g of Carbs per bottle! They offer white, rose and red in this variety! They also now have other Italian varieties you can order. Each varies on the carb count but they are all low carbs! You can choose how often you want your favorite wines delivered to your house with Secco as well. I love that they often have free shipping or other specials! The Usual Wine-
I think the name is super cute! They ship you mini bottles of wine. Each bottle is about 1 1/2 glasses and about 1.5g Carbs per bottle. They are perfect if you don’t want to open a full bottle of wine. To be honest, we usually end up opening two of them and in that case, it would be more cost effective and carb effective to open a bottle of Palo61 or Dry Farms Wines.
But if you have more self control than I do and are only looking for one serving they are perfect! Check them out here. They are natural wines with no additives farmed in California. Avaline-
Avaline was founded by Cameron Diaz and Katherine Power. It is 100% Organic with no added sugar or colors. It has less carbs per glass than traditional wines but it is not as low carb as the Secco Wine Club or the Dry Farms Wines.
I found them to be enjoyable but the other ones are still my favorite! Those are my top 4 ketogenic, gluten free, and paleo wines. If you are more of a beer drinker check out my post on gluten free beer here! If you are following a ketogenic diet remember to watch the carb count in drinks especially wine, beer, or cocktails as it can add up quickly to your whole day’s amount of carbs! Cheers to you if you try any of these wines! As Always, Best Wishes for Gluten Free Dishes! XO, Michelle

Hey there! Crockpot Mississippi Pot Roast is super easy to make and full of flavor! I think you are going to love it!
HERE’S THE INGREDIENTS TO MAKE THIS Crockpot Mississippi Pot Roast!
(1) 3-4 LBS Chuck Roast Flavor God Ranch Seasoning- or any other gluten free ranch you like such as Hidden Valley. (1) 1 oz packet gluten free Brown Gravy 1/2 c Butter (1) 16 oz jar whole or sliced Pepperoncinis, drained 1 Yellow Onion, sliced Pepper to taste. Note: the gravy and ranch are salty so you will not need salt for this recipe. Here’s How to Make it:Add the sliced onions to the bottom of your crockpot. Put the roast on top of them. Pour the ranch and gravy on top of the roast. Add the butter on top in cubes. Pour the drained Pepperocinis in there. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. Shred it and serve it with your favorite sides! Why is it called a Mississippi Pot Roast? Robin Chapman created this recipe by modifying a recipe from her aunt in the 1990s to make it less spicy for her kids. Her family loved it then she gave it to a friend where it became famous. Both of them called it “pot roast” but it got passed around by a couple of bloggers. One of them called it Mississippi Roast and the name stuck. You can read more about it here. What makes this gluten free? Most dried gravy packages have flour in them as a thickener. I used an organic one that is certified gluten free. Also, I chose to use Flavor God Ranch Seasoning, because it has cleaner ingredients and it is also gluten free. Hidden Valley Ranch dried seasoning is also labeled gluten free and can be used in this recipe if you like. What to serve with Mississippi Pot Roast? GLUTEN-FREE BUFFALO CHICKEN DIP– a perfect appetizer for your pot roast. It’s also keto-friendly! EASY GLUTEN FREE MASHED CAULIFLOWER– a perfect keto friendly side dish for your pot roast! Gluten Free Beer can only mean one thing in my mind and that is that it’s made from 100% gluten free ingredients and is Celiac Safe!
However, not everyone advertising gluten free beer agrees with me! There are brands out there that claim to remove gluten from the brewing process, but I don’t trust that! They brew the beer with gluten-containing ingredients and use a chemical to “remove” the gluten. The Gluten Intolerance Group published a study The Celiac Patient Antibody Response to Conventional and Gluten-Removed Beer and it showed that some patients with Celiac Disease react to gluten removed beer. I happen to be one of those people… I drank an Omission beer once and that was enough for me! After that experience, I went back to the trusted 100% gluten free beers available. How it started: When I was first diagnosed with Celiac Disease, I used to love having the occasional Guinness. Once I found out that I could no longer drink the dark coffee flavored deliciousness, I was on the hunt for a gluten free replacement! At the time, there were none to be found. The only gluten free beer I could find at Whole Foods was: Red Bridge and New Grist. And neither one of them resembled Guinness. The First Gluten Free Stout that I tried: Glutenberg Beer was actually the first gluten free stout that I tried! It’s made in Canada and it is ELISA tested to make sure it is Celiac Safe! I had heard about this beer but could not buy it in Arizona, so we went to visit our family in Canada and there it was on the shelf! We even went to California to buy it when it was available there first! I love their Stout :)
Gluten Free Beer Recipes: If you like to cook with gluten free beer, you might like this recipe for Gluten Free Beer Cheese Soup as well as Gluten Free Irish Stew!
What I learned from my visit to Holidaily in Colorado: When we visited Holidaily, we learned how they use 100% gluten free ingredients to brew their beer! This makes them Celiac Safe! They have a super cute location in Golden! I love their Favorite Blonde as well as the Adventure Series one! Their Stout is also delicious… too many good ones to really choose a favorite! And we tried one of each when we were there to visit…they are sample sized and I shared! lol
If you are in Portland you need to try Ground Breaker Brewing! We have gone to Oregon every year for the past 5 years for a wine trip! I know this is about beer, not wine… I am getting to the point lol. We wanted a break from wine tasting, so we went to Ground Breaker!
We got to devour some of their delicious food as well as sample some tasty beers!
There are lots of Gluten Free Beers Now-
There are more and more gluten free beers on the market now! I can’t wait to try more when we visit other areas of the country and world! Best Gluten Free Beers has a list published of USA and Worldwide beer options! Check them out here! If you know of a gluten free beer brand that I should check out please let me know! Cheers! Hey there! This Mongolian Beef is perfect for satisfying your takeout cravings! It’s super easy to make and there are keto options listed below You don’t need PF Changs takeout!
HERE’S THE INGREDIENTS TO MAKE THIS AMAZING EASY Keto Mongolian Beef:
2.5 LBS of Flank Steak, sliced thin 1/2 c Cornstarch- or other keto alternatives for fewer carbs. See below. A Drizzle of Olive Oil 1 c Low Sodium Gluten Free Soy Sauce or Coconut Aminos 1/2 – 3/4 c Coconut Sugar, Brown Sugar or Brown Swerve or your favorite Keto sweetener. 1/3 c Water 2 TSP Ginger 4 cloves of Garlic Pinch of Red Pepper Flakes Green Onions for garnish Salt Pepper Here’s how to make this recipe: Slice your steak into thin strips. Cut against the grain. Put the steak in a bowl. Add cornstarch or alternative. Use your hands to evenly coat the steak. Heat a Wok or large skillet to high heat, add the Oil. Once heated, add the Steak but don’t overcrowd them. Cook on each side for ~1 minute until edges are brown. Remove the Steak and set it aside. In a small bowl, mix Soy Sauce, Coconut Sugar, Water, Ginger, Red Pepper Flakes, and Garlic. Pour the sauce into the skillet and bring to a boil. Add steak to the sauce and allow the sauce to thicken. Stir so it doesn’t burn. Toss with Green Onions. What’s the difference between Mongolian Beef and Szechuan Beef? Szechuan comes from Southwest China, commonly made with garlic, chili peppers, and Szechuan peppercorns. It’s super spicy. Mongolian Beef is not spicy, stir-fried, and known more for the fresh veggies added to it. You can read more about the differences here. I served this Mongolian Beef with cauliflower rice to keep the carbs lower. You can serve it with your favorite sides such as steamed rice, fried rice, or noodles. If you want lower carb noodles, I like Palmini! Where does Mongolian Beef originate from? It was based on a dish in Taiwan but Mongolian Beef has adapted into a prominent menu item for American Chinese restaurants. You can add more vegetables to this recipe if you like, however, we like it with just green onions to garnish it. What can I use instead of cornstarch to lower the carbs? You have the option to omit it entirely. This will result in less thick of a sauce but it will still be delicious! You can use Xanthan gum to coat the beef and thicken the sauce if you like. There are 7 grams of Carbs per 1 TBSP of Cornstarch. You could also just use less cornstarch however, this will result in a runnier sauce. It will still be delicious! PIN it NOW and make it later!

Gluten Free Arepas are super easy to make and have been made popular lately by the Disney movie Encanto! Have you seen it yet?
Here’s what you need to make gluten free arepas:You will need a bag of GOYA Masarepa or PAN White Cornmeal that is precooked.
I used the Goya Masarepa flour to make these babies! These two work the best for making them IMO. Warm Water Salt If you want to make them with a cheese filling you will need shredded cheese or queso fresco or your favorite cheese! I also like to fill them with shredded meat, avocado, and shredded cheese… yum! If you purchase the flour from my Amazon link, I will receive a small commission. Thank you! Here are my policies and disclosures:) I messaged my friend Gaby, who is from Columbia to ask her for her pro tips when making these! Thank you Gaby for your help! Here’s how to make them: I followed the instructions on the GOYA Masarepa package. I added on to it since it ended after making the dough lol. In a bowl, add 2 1/2 cups of warm water, 2 Cups of Masarepa, and 1 tsp salt (I did a pinch because I didn’t measure it lol) Stir together until combined. Let it sit for 5 minutes. After the 5 minutes, USE WET HANDS to knead the dough. I kneaded it on a Silpat mat so it wouldn’t stick. Start heating your skillet with some olive oil in it. If you are not adding cheese as a filling, form them into thick pancake shapes. If you are adding cheese filling, hold the pancake-like shape in the palm of your hand and make a little well. Put the cheese in there. Cover the cheese up with a little dough. Press the dough all around it so none will come out during cooking. If the dough gets sticky, wet your hands again. This really helps! Once you have them made, pan fry them for about 3-4 minutes per side until they are browned and cooked through. The cheese filling ones will have melty cheese on the inside! Continue until all of them are cooked. Once they are cooled a little, you can cut them 3/4 of the way around and add the shredded meat to them or your favorite stuffing ingredients. You might also like Gluten Free Empanadas! Pin this now and make it later!
Here’s some Arepa filling ideas:
Shredded Beef- I used leftover Pot Roast Meat and it was yummy! Shredded Chicken- I like to make Salsa Chicken in my Instant Pot for this!
