Hey there! Today we’re making my famous gluten free guacamole recipe with fresh ingredients sure to please your friends for Cinco de Mayo or a quick and easy appetizer or a delectable topping for your dinner.
HERE’S THE INGREDIENTS TO MAKE THIS GLUTEN FREE GUACAMOLE:
4 Ripe Avocados
3 Cloves of Garlic, minced
3/4 c Cherry Tomatoes, cut in quarters
1/2 Red Onion, minced
Salt and Black Pepper
Fresh Lime Juice or 2-3 Limes, juiced
Optional: 1-2 Diced Jalapeno
HERE’S HOW TO MAKE GLUTEN FREE GUACAMOLE:
Mash your avocados with a potato masher, food processor, or fork.
Chop up the rest of the ingredients.
In a large bowl, combine all your ingredients.
Store the remaining ingredients in an airtight container.
I have this guacamole saver and it works perfectly!
VARIATIONS ON THIS RECIPE:
White Onion instead of red if you want it to be less spicy.
Onion Powder instead of the onions if you don’t have onions or you’re going for a smoother guac.
Garlic Powder can replace fresh garlic if you don’t have any or you want super smooth gluten-free guacamole. You can see the official conversion here.
Lemon Juice can replace lime juice if you don’t have any for a 1:1 conversion rate.
HOW LONG WILL THE GUAC LAST?
In the fridge, it’ll last 3-4 days but I have a guac container that makes it last longer. You can check it out here.
WHAT TO SERVE WITH YOUR GUAC?
Black Beans– they go so well together on top of tacos.
GF Tortilla chips– classic way to serve it as an appetizer.
Fresh Veggies– if you’re looking for a low-carb option.
GF Bread– for avocado toast. I like mine with a little everything Bagel Seasoning.
Burgers-not a traditional topping but delicious.
French Fries– yummy!

Salad– you can turn guac into guac dressing and put it on your favorite salad.

Eggs– I love guac on top of my eggs.
Breakfast sandwiches– they are so versatile and guac makes a great topping.
