Caraway VS Our Place Cookware

Caraway Cookware vs Our Place Cookware- which is better according to me :)

I had the pleasure of using both brands of cookware for over 6 months and I wanted to give you my opinion on which one is better and why.

I started with one of each of the Caraway and Always pans and then eventually bought the set of my favorite and by far the winner in this debate.   You will have to read to the bottom to find out which one!

Our Place- The Always Pan

I fell in love with the always pan as soon as I received it.  It was the perfect size for a small family and I was cooking for two people most of the time.  It is non stick and doesn't have any of the bad chemicals in it according to their website.  

I used it all the time and my husband even loved the non stick surface for making eggs!  That is saying a lot since he hated my stainless steel pans hehe.

I honestly never used the steam basket that came with it but I did love the bamboo spatula and the fact that it sat on the handle was super convenient!  The version I had was not oven safe and that was unfortunate.  They have since made it oven safe!  

However, after about six months of using it exclusively, there were a few things I was disappointed in.   The outside color had chipped off in a few spots.  I didn't use it to knock any bad guys out or anything but just normal cooking and hand washing in the sink.  

The nail to the coffin for this pan was that the non stick started to stick at about the six month mark.  I noticed we had to start using oil in it to cook so the food would not stick.  This was super disappointing since it was purchased as a non stick pan.   SPOILER ALERT...and for this reason it was the looser in the competition.  

I love the red color of the Always Pan!  

The Caraway Pan and the winner according to me

I started out with the yellow sautee pan and love the way it cooked!  Plus it added a fun pop of color to my kitchen!   However I ultimately purchased the black and gold set above including the mini pans which are an awesome size for 1-2 people!  

I love that they are also non toxic, can go in the oven to finish cooking a steak if you are searing it, the ceramic cooking surface is non stick, and they clean up very easily!  

They are beautiful to look at and very functional.  All of the lids can fit into the organizer and the cookware stands up in an organizer as well!  

They also have super cool additions such as bakeware and food storage containers!
