Gluten Free Alfredo Sauce is super easy to make at home and just about as fast as heating up a jar from the store! I love alfredo sauce! I really don’t know anyone who doesn’t love it. Once I learned how to make it at home I have never bought a store made one since! It is so fast and easy to make and is delicious over almost anything.
Here’s what you need to make it: My base recipe has 5 key ingredients and then you can add to it if you want. Butter, cream cheese, heavy cream, grated parmesan, and garlic. That’s it! Easy Peasy! I have used the pregrated parmesan from Costco to make it easy, if you don’t want to get your arm workout in. After your sauce is ready add any meat and veggies you would like to! Here’s How you make it: In a deep pan, melt the butter over medium low heat. You don’t want it to boil. Next melt in the cream cheese. Stir in the heavy cream until it’s all mixed together. Add in your garlic and salt and pepper. Get your whisk out if you aren’t using it already, and whisk in the parmesan cheese. It will get nice and thick and cheesy! Once it’s all melted it’s ready to eat! Enjoy! I feel like gluten free fajitas could be a comfort food in our house. The smell of grilled onions, peppers and meat make me happy. Sometimes, it even makes the house full of smoke from the indoor grill pan but I don’t mind because I love the flavor. They also play nicely into a ketogenic or paleo lifestyle. If you are following a ketogenic diet, just add guacamole, cheese and eat them without a tortilla, or over a bed of cauliflower rice. If you are eating paleo, eat them with an almond or coconut flour tortilla and skip the cheese and sour cream.
My personal favorite is on a plate with sour cream, cheese, and guacamole. Yum! Feel free to make these gluten free fajitas with your own fajita seasoning. I like the Frontera seasoning when I am in a hurry. Feel free to make it with beef, chicken or shrimp! I like to let the beef or chicken marinate for a few hours before making them. I feel like shrimp absorbs the flavor of the fajita seasonings pretty quickly! If you are serving them with tortillas and have the time, I reccomend warming them up slightly so they are nice and soft! Quick Meal of Fajitas A quick meal to make! Goes together in a few minutes and is healthy and delicious. Pair it with your favorite toppings! You can make it with one meat or with a combination of all three. INGREDIENTS
