What are the ingredients in these three ingredient soft pretzels?
The only three ingredients you need are:
Full Fat Greek Yogurt Gluten Free Flour- I used Bob's Red Mill Cup for Cup Gluten Free Flour. * If you use other flour blends, you might have to adjust the yogurt measurements A beaten egg Optional Ingredients: Course Salt Sugar and Cinnamon Everything Bagel Seasoning Cheese Dipping Sauce- such as this German Beer Cheese Sauce called Obatzda...delicious!!! Melted Butter Melted Garlic Butter Any other pretzel topping or dipping sauce you would like! Here's how to make them!
If you have a stand mixer, you can mix them in there using the bread hook.
If you don't have a stand mixer, you can mix them by hand. I did this method the first time I made them and ended up not using a spoon but just working the yogurt into the four with my hands until it formed a ball. Boom! Section the dough into 5-6 balls. Roll the first ball out like a snake on a slightly floured surface or a Silpat baking mat. When it is the desired thickness, loop it around into a pretzel shape or cut it into pretzel bites. Beat an egg in a bowl. Use a brush to brush the egg onto the pretzels. Top with your favorite topping. Bake in the oven until they are golden brown. This usually takes about 15 minutes. I have tried lots of frozen gluten free pretzels and none of them were as good as these homemade ones! We had friend over for Octoberfest and they all voted these three ingredient pretzels were better than any of the gluten free purchased ones!
